LAWRENCEVILLE, GA, November 29, 2022 – Ricoh Electronics, Inc., a global leader in thermal media technologies for close to five decades, is excited to officially announce the introduction of the all-new clear direct thermal film product into the comprehensive DT product portfolio: CDT-1 (PET).

Clear direct thermal is designed with plastic clam shell packaging end-use in mind. The transparent nature of these clear direct thermal film labels provides premium packaging that offers end-users easy visibility of internal contents. CDT-1 offers high image resolution, excellent barcode reliability and strong water resistance. CDT-1 also features high heat and chemical resistance, to help protect against any potential color degradation in harsh environments.
